Noah wins power tools giant ECHO

Japanese power tool giant ECHO has appointed Noah as its agency of record for Europe, Russia and Australia after a competitive pitch. ECHO is one of the world’s leading hand-held power tool manufacturers, making a range of products including chainsaws, grass trimmers and leaf blowers and is used by both a domestic and professional audience. Until now the brand has undertaken only very limited marketing in Europe and Australia but this appointment marks a change in strategy for the brand as they look to increase their sales globally. Their main competitors are German brand Stihl and Swedish manufacturer Husqvarna. Noah has been charged with developing a wide range of communications including TV, print advertising and in-store materials.

Commenting on the win, Cormach Moore Founding Partner at Noah said, “We are enormously excited about this win. ECHO is a leading power tool brand with a fantastic range of products. They are already a market leader in Asia and North America and we now aim to help them take significant market share across Europe, Russia and Australia too.”

Joe Fahey, ECHO’s International Marketing Manager said, “We were blown away by the professionalism of Noah. They truly understand our business, the power tools category and the work we need our marketing to do. We also appreciated Noah’s integrated offer and their strong strategic vision for our brand.”

ECHO, is owned by the Yamabiko Corporation.
